Martial Arts
Thailand is the birth place and center of the martial art Muay Thai or Thaiboxing, widely regarded as the premier striking art of all. Muay Thai demands very hard training and therefore is great for staying in shape while learning effective self defense techniques. There are many gyms in Bangkok, but not all accept foreigners unless they have experience.
