You can remit salary outside India if you have an employment visa.
To remit money home through Telegraphic Transfer (TT) or Demand Draft regularly, you must mention it when opening your bank account. The bank will give you the required bank documents, government forms, the Form 2 Declaration-cum undertaking, and the Form A2 Application for Remittance Abroad.
You will be required to show a copy of your monthly play slip. The amount sent abroad cannot exceed 75 percent of your monthly salary. You must also state the reason why you are transferring money. Rupees cannot be transferred outside of India, and the exchange rates applied are usually not favorable. There is a big difference between exchange rates from bank to bank, so shop around. Foreign brands, such as HSBC, tend to have better rates.
Many banks allow online transfers to international accounts, but the basic procedure above must be followed. Always confirm that your money has been transferred successfully.
