Ismaylovsky Craft Market (Vernissazh)
Open on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The nearest metro is Ismaylovsky Park. It costs 50 RUR to enter and you will find a wonderful selection of souvenirs, military uniforms, antique (or just old) furniture, silver goods, icons, paintings, art books and more. Don’t be afraid to bargain, watch out for pickpockets, and approach food vendors with a healthy amount of suspicion.
Art Market
Open every day from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The nearest metro stations are Park Kultury and Oktyabrskaya. The market is located opposite Gorky Park, along the riverbank, and near the Central House of Artists. Local artists display paintings on open-air stands. You may just find a great bargain on an early work of a future great!
