I will be travelling to Japan in three weeks time with my wife and our baby. Reading from the news, they are preparing the worst:

Can anyone who live in Japan shed some lights of how the current situation there is?

Ricky, I cannot shed a light on Japan, but in a way to potentially ease your mind I would say that the mirror is not in any way a reliable news source (it is a gossip magazine at best) so unless you are seeing this report from multiple reliable news sources I would guess that your family would be just as safe in Japan as they are at home.
I hope you have a good time.
