- If you are going to dine in a tourist restaurant, always check your bill for extra charges. Also, make sure that the restaurant doesn’t short-change you. If something arrives at your table that you didn’t order, it’s not a gift and will be included on your bill. Refuse it and have it taken back.
- As in many big cities around the world, taxi scams are a frequent occurrence. Luckily, Lisbon now has Uber. By booking an Uber online, you know the cost of the ride before you book it.
- Some snatchers may ride past you on a moped or bicycle and grab your bag. Therefore it’s always wise to carry your bag across your body.
