Beauty services have some mixed perceptions in the Netherlands. The national sense of pragmatism means that high fashion and beauty salons are not high on everyone’s shopping lists in the Netherlands. The Dutch prioritize utility and function allowing otherwise very glamorous people to ride a bike to work even in the rain.

Interesting fact
