La Vanguardia
This is Barcelona’s leading daily and the best newspaper in town if you really want to know what’s happening in Catalunya and locally, in addition to international coverage. It has a really good online edition, with good sports coverage and international news. It is only printed in Spanish and is bigger than your standard newspaper in terms of size.
El Periódico
El Periódico is Barcelona’s second main daily and is printed in two languages every day (Catalan and Spanish).

International Papers
Most major international daily and weekend newspapers from the UK, US and Germany are available at almost any newsstand, and certainly in any news agency store, usually on the day following publication.
In the event you are not able to find an English newspaper or magazine in your neighborhood, the large newsstand at Placa Catalunya as well as any FNAC (http://tiendas.fnac.es) will have them.

Barcelona Metropolitan is a free, monthly, English-language magazine available from various bars, cafes, chambers of commerce and institutions in the city (see distribution points).
Barcelona Connect is a free monthly A5 format magazine providing information on events, travel tips, nightlife and an English classified section for Barcelona.
BCN Inside is a bi-monthly magazine with information on the city of Barcelona and a guide to clubs, venues, restaurants and bars. Distributed for free at clubs, restaurants, bars and consulates in the city.
