School Year Calendar Guide
The school holidays in Germany can differ from each federal state.
The following are the dates for public schools in Berlin. It is important to note that that these may differ slightly in each district and for private schools, be sure to check with the relevant school.
Schools are also closed on all public holidays. Should this holiday land on a Tuesday or Thursday it is not uncommon for the school to be closed on the Monday or Friday, providing all with a long-weekend.
