Finding a Home in Dubai
Your starting point in the search for finding a home will probably be a newspaper/magazine or you may choose to drive around and take down contact details from any ‘for sale’ or ‘for rent’ notices you see outside properties.
Once you find a property you are interested in, your next step is to contact the agent who is listing the property. They will probably also be able to show you a selection of similar properties that they have on their books. Of course, you may choose to just go to a real estate agent directly.

Many agents will offer the same properties, so you may find some overlap. Most estate agents will be able to take you around the properties available, either in their own car, by allowing you to follow them in your own car, or they will meet you at the property. Some agents will arrange to leave the property open so that you can look around them at your leisure. The payment to the real estate agent will be approximately 5% of the yearly rent
