Specialized Grocery Stores Guide in Paris
Paris is full of specialized grocery stores, and every neighborhood will have cheese shops, butchers, fruit and vegetable markets and epiceries. The best thing is to simply walk around your neighborhood and see which stores have the freshest products, and – often – the longest lines. Nibbling your way through their products to find your favorites is a pleasant introduction to the city. Foreign foods are easily found at the larger grocery stores (particularly Monoprix, Carrefour and Auchan – see ‘Supermarkets’ for listings) but listed below are a few more places where you can obtain special ingredients and foods.
