I qualified for Medicare at 65, but have been living in Europe and now am 75 years old. If I return, how do I activate Medicare again? I understand there is a cost for the vacant period when no deduction was taken. How do I compute the cost, and how soon can I re activate it? I currently am paying a very large monthly premium for BC coverage abroad. Thanks for any referral sites for my questions.
Sincerely… Ron Schmitz

I have the same question. We are slightly younger. Where did you find your original information? Thank you, Laura callahan
