My wife and I, along with another retired couple are going to move to Ensenada. I need to figure out the best way to have our kitchen gear, some books, and our electronics transported there. We thought about PODS but they don’t go to Mexico. Any suggestions?

I am considering becoming an Expat. I am a U.S. citizen.
At this time I am considering moving to Playa del Carmen or Puerto Vallarta
My question is about what I can import, potential tariffs & recommended method of shipment.
I am considering moving to Playa del Carmen or Puerto Vallarta.
The items I am considering importing are:
Clothing
Car (2017 Honda Accord, low mileage (12,000). Kelly Blue Book values the car at $15,000.
Kitchen supplies (including electrical units such as toaster oven, blender…etc.).
Personal items
Perhaps there is an internet link you can refer me too.
Perhaps the best information can be obtained from the Mexico Consulate but the response has been sloooow
If there are categories that I missed, please advise.
I am considering using a 20’ container to put the car in & all other items.
Thank you all.

Yes I would appreciate confirming that as an American citizen, can I now, with Covid19 pandemic, travel into Tijuana from San Ysidro. Thanks. Edward
