HSBC Bank International announced the launch of the 2011 Expat Explorer Survey, which will mark the forth year of expatriate based research completed by the banking chain.
HSBC’s Expat Explorer is a global survey of expatriates that aims to reveal what life abroad is really like for those who leave behind the safety net of home in favor of exploring new realms overseas. Over 4,000 expats participated in the 2010 survey and this year promises to reel in even more expatriate opinions and insights:
“It’s fantastic to see such a steady increase of respondents to the survey year on year which has helped make Expat Explorer the largest expat survey in the world. Even though we received an increase of nearly 1,000 respondents from 2009, we are committed to increasing this number again this year,” said Lisa Wood, Head of Marketing at HSBC Bank International.
“We’d love the 2011 results to include more countries than ever before and having launched our new online Expat Explorer tool earlier this year, we’re very excited at the prospect of being able to develop a resource that’s even more useful for expats by including some brand new data. That’s why we’re asking expats to not only complete the survey themselves, but also share it around their friends, relatives and colleagues to help us capture as many unique expat insights as possible.”
