Malaysia is a pet-friendly destination and, there should be no problem relocating your fur babies with you. However, the process may be complicated and lengthy. An Import Permit
You must apply to the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (MAQIS) for an import permit. This permit is valid for thirty days.
Your pet will need a passport or a veterinary health certificate that shows all its vaccinations and medical history. It must also clearly describe your pet and its microchip number.
Quarantine for your Pet
Dogs and cats arriving from Australia will be required to quarantine for up to ten days.
Dogs and cats arriving from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Sweden, Ireland, Japan, Brunei, and Singapore are not required to quarantine.
