Shopping Guide in Amsterdam
Shopping in Amsterdam can be a quick and focused outing or, it can be extremely relaxed, if you enjoy strolling through stalls that offer variations of products and objects that you didn’t think you needed until you realised they existed. It can offer a street full of designers who sell shirts for more than the average monthly rent (and cologne for even more), or around the corner, clothing, cosmetics, accessories, and produce being sold for a euro or less. It is this dynamic that keeps shopping enjoyable and diverse. There are exclusive and up-scale boutiques and there are chain stores and clothing markets.
Amsterdam is also famous for its uniqueness of stores. One shop sells condoms in all shapes/sizes/flavours one can imagine, around the corner a shop which sells only red objects, another which serves only banana drinks… It’s the town where shopping cannot get boring! Basically, there is something for every shopper in terms of type of store, style, and budget.
