Visa Type Required to Retire in Delhi
India does not currently grant visas for retirees wanting to settle in the country. You can visit India as a tourist for up to six months at a time on a tourist visa, although you may not apply for residency under this visa and the visa is intended for tourism purposes, not for settling down. Note that non-Indians cannot buy residential property in the country.
