I have lived in Spain for the last 20 years and reached retirement age 10 years ago. I have paid tax and stamp for 34 years prior to retirement. I still pay tax in England on my company pension. I received a notification from the DWP saying that the Adult Dependency Benefit is being withdrawn as from April 2020. My point is I have never claimed for any dependants only as a married man. They are deducting one third of my Pension. It would appear that they have decided to rename the married mans allowance and used it as an excuse to reduce my pension payments. Has anybody else received these notification, or is it just a deduction for people living abroad ?.
