Emergency Services in Buenos Aires
In general, the emergency services are very reliable and quick to respond in the city. However, you should also remember that traffic can be a nightmare and ambulances are subject to congestion. Emergency operators, for the most part, don’t speak fluent English, but many of them will have a very basic understanding of the language, and will usually be able to understand the main ideas — address, name, etc. Try to speak slowly and succinctly, and be prepared to give the address, at least, in Spanish. The emergency numbers are:
