Los Angeles Home Furnishing Guide
Many of the top furniture designers in the world have boutique stores in Los Angeles and designers do well in this city that craves the latest trend or big name label. Not everyone can afford designer prices, of course, but owning used designer furniture dating from the 1950’s – 1980’s is currently considered quite cool. There are the large department stores selling identikit furniture–but why bother when amazing bargains and real designer gems can be found at local independent used furniture stores and markets. It’s also a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for weekend garage sales as you never know what prizes you’ll find. There are also smaller home furnishing stores that sell mid-range goods that have that designer flair but none-exclusive price ranges.
