Any advice from someone on the ground on:
+ Buying real estate prior to the move
+ Transfering funds into the country
+ Buying furniture and car locally or shipping in from US1 reply

You can buy furniture and cars locally instead of shipping them from other place. Don’t indulge in buying real estate so early. First learn the new environment and then go into zone of buying real estate. Transferring funds is simple and safe thing you can do.
