Tailors
Tailors, or ‘modistas’, are found all over the city, with a high concentration in the textile district of the Once neighborhood, where most of the fabric shops and cheap clothing stores are located. Ask for a recommendation from your local laundromat or neighbors, as most modistas work out of their homes and do business on a word-of-mouth basis only.
